The Journal of Nonparametric Statistics (JNPS) has agreed to devote a special issue of the journal to papers inspired from our International Seminar. The Guest Editors for this issue are Ricardo Cao, Winfried Stute, and Philippe Vieu, all of them members of ISNI2008's Scientific Committee.

This will not be a Proceedings volume; rather, it will serve as a venue for people to publish their papers in a special-theme issue of the journal devoted to ISNI2008. Papers will be refereed as usual. Papers should be submitted electronically to the Journal's manuscript central site: http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/gnst Authors will be asked upon submission whether their paper is for a special issue. Participants can state their preference about the Guest Editor in the cover letter, so the paper can be assigned accordingly.

Papers can be submitted at any time from September 1, 2008 until February 5, 2009. Please note that only papers of registered authors who present a contributed (or invited) paper at the conference will be considered for possible publication in the JNPS special issue. Recall that the deadline for abstract submission is June 23.
